New Delhi, December 19, 2025 – The internet is abuzz with a controversial “viral video” falsely linked to popular Indian gamer and YouTuber Payal Dhare, better known as Payal Gaming. Dubbed the “Payal Gaming Dubai MMS,” the explicit clip has exploded across social media platforms, racking up millions of views and searches. However, Payal has categorically denied any involvement, branding it a deepfake fabrication designed to tarnish her reputation.
The Controversy Unfolds
The 21-year-old content creator from Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, boasts over 4.5 million YouTube subscribers, where she streams engaging gameplay of titles like PUBG Mobile and Free Fire. She even met Prime Minister Narendra Modi last year to discuss gaming’s future in India. Her success has made her a target for malicious online trolls.
Over the past 48 hours, a 19-minute explicit video surfaced online, allegedly showing Payal in compromising positions with a man. Labeled as a “leak from Dubai,” it quickly spread via spam links on X (formerly Twitter), Telegram channels, and shady websites promising “full HD links.” Promotional watermarks in the clips shamelessly advertise Telegram Premium groups for “all videos.”
But here’s the truth: It’s NOT Payal Gaming. Fans and fact-checkers have flagged it as an AI-generated deepfake, with unnatural facial movements and mismatched features. The video features a woman in leopard-print lingerie engaging in adult acts, but side-by-side comparisons with Payal’s real photos reveal clear discrepancies.
Payal Gaming Breaks Her Silence
In a heartfelt Instagram note shared on December 18, Payal addressed the storm directly:
“I never expected to have to speak publicly about something so personal and distressing. Over the past few days, content has been circulated that falsely associates my name and image with a video currently being shared on digital platforms. I want to state this clearly and without ambiguity: the individual depicted in that video is not me, and it has no connection to my life, my choices, or my identity.”
She urged followers: “Please refrain from sharing, reproducing, or speculating about this material in any form.” Payal also confirmed that “appropriate legal steps are being taken” against those misusing her likeness.
Boyfriend Parv Singh Weighs In
Rumored beau and fellow gamer Parv Singh showed solidarity by resharing her post and slamming the “weaponization of AI.” When pressed on dating rumors, he emphasized privacy and urged fans to verify info before sharing.
Fan Backlash and Legal Warnings
Supporters rallied online: “People need to understand how easy it is to create deepfake videos now. Dragging Payal Gaming’s name into this without proof is wrong.” Another added: “Using AI videos to ruin someone’s image for views is disgusting.”
Under Section 67 of India’s IT Act, sharing obscene content can lead to up to 3 years in jail and fines up to ₹5 lakh for first offenses—escalating for repeats. Platforms are cracking down, but the damage from rumors lingers.
The Deepfake Menace
This isn’t isolated—similar hoaxes targeted influencers like Sweet Zannat recently. Experts warn of rising AI tools making hyper-realistic fakes, urging vigilance.
